Nakema Walker has over 10 years of extensive experience providing therapy to individuals with diverse and complex psychiatric, behavioural, functional, psychosocial, addictions and physical needs as a result of a brain injury or other serious trauma. Nakema’s client-centered and family systems approach ensures individuals have the greatest chance of a successful recovery when transitioning back to their home and community. She believes in collaboration and maintaining effective working relationships with those responsible for service development and delivery. She is a member in good standing with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRA) and has received certification from Brock University in partnership with the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
