Tish Byrne Retiring
After 25 years of dedicated service to our clients, families and community service partners, Tish Byrne is retiring from her role as Service Coordinator as of August 31, 2020. It is very difficult to put into words, however we want to thank Tish for her tremendous efforts, her compassion, her energy and her commitment to each and every client over the past 25 years.
Tish approaches every day with passion and commitment. Her desire and excitement in supporting the most vulnerable in unique, creative ways is her legacy. She put her heart and soul into each and every individual she supported, everyday!
Throughout the years, she was a friend and a mentor to all of us, and although we will miss her, her thoughts, advice and ideas remain with all of us going forward.
We are pleased to announce that following Tish’s retirement from coordination she will remain available for consultation to Bartimaeus Rehabilitation, both within and outside our organization ensuring we all continue to benefit from her experience and expertise.
As of September 1, 2020, Wendy Highley, who presently coordinates the London area, additionally takes over the coordination responsibilities for the Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph/Owen Sound areas. She is working closely with Tish to ensure a smooth transition for all our clients. In addition, effective September 1, Sean St. Amand, who presently coordinates the Windsor/Chatham areas, is adding Sarnia Lambton to his coordination area, presently coordinated by Wendy. These transitions ensure our clients’ well being is at the forefront at all times, as always.
